This method, which is revolutionary in dentistry, also introduced the concept of digital dentistry and created a flexible system that brings with it unlimited possibilities and equipment.

These systems, which have many functional advantages for dentists and prosthetic technicians, allow for long-lasting prosthetic treatments with the materials and techniques used.

The solutions offered by the digital dentistry in Turkey system cover all areas of modern dentistry, but the result is satisfactory not only for physicians, but also for patients. First of all, it allows patients to choose the most appropriate treatment for themselves. By combining aesthetic dental treatments before treatment, it is possible to create the closest visuals to the mouth and offer different options about the treatment to be performed to the patient. The shapes, colors of the teeth, how they stand in the mouth, most importantly, how the person will smile after the treatment can be easily predicted before the treatment.

Digital dentistry systems are advantageous in Turkey not only in terms of visual appearance, but also in terms of speed. After the tooth cut made in the patient in just one session and the measurement taken digitally through the mouth, prosthesis production is carried out in a short time, and the patient can return home with their new teeth on the same day.

In this case, both the time is shortened and the discomfort that the patient may hear during the measurement can be easily prevented. It is an excellent solution especially for patients who do not like to have a measuring spoon placed in their mouth or who develop a nausea reflex.


For many years, metal fillings have been used in caries treatments, especially for the back teeth. The strange thing is that still some dentists continue to use these fillings.

These fillers do not consist of a single metal, but of mixtures called alloys formed by multiple metals used to improve their properties.

In this mixture, also called amalgam, there are also heavy metals such as mercury, which can affect the general health of a person.

Close to 50 percent of the mercury in the contents of these fillers can cause side effects and environmental damage are still questionable.

The World Health Organization says that the output of mercury vapor inside metal fillings will increase with teeth grinding, squeezing, chewing gum and consuming carbonated drinks.

On the other hand, mercury contained in amalgams also harms the environment.

The mercury released during the removal of amalgam can reach water sources through sewage.

For these reasons, alternatives to metal fillings are preferred today. Composite filler, developed as an alternative, is now widely used. These fillers are white colored substances, the main structure of which is formed by resin, hardened with special wavelength lights. These systems are more advantageous due to the fact that they are aesthetic and do not contain mercury. But the important thing in the implementation of these systems is the careful and meticulous work of the attending Turkey physician.

Otherwise, there is a high probability of caries forming under the filling.

Porcelain filling is also an alternative solution.

These fillings can be glued to the patient’s tooth on the same day. The principle of these digital systems, called CAD-CAM, is based on computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing. In other words, apart from preparing the teeth for filling, everything from measurement to production is done with computer support.

So the margin of error is reduced to almost zero.

So how are porcelain fillings made through CAD-GLASS?

First of all, the dentist meticulously cleans the carious or damaged area and prepares the tooth. Then, with the help of a specially manufactured camera of the device, he takes a three-dimensional image of the tooth and sends the data to the computer. The dentist designs the filling to be formed from a ceramic block, and the milling system produces this design.

First of all, time is saved with the CAD-CAM system. The filler is designed, manufactured and applied to the patient only in one treatment session. There is no need for applications that disturb patients, such as silicone measurements, temporary fillings. In other words, thanks to digital dentistry, many problems experienced by patients are also prevented.

Finally, restorations made entirely of ceramics; it fits the natural tooth color and form in the best way. It is almost impossible to distinguish restorations produced with CAD-CAM from real teeth of the patient.

In summary, CAD-CAM offers attractive, healthy and long-lasting teeth to patients in one session.

In addition to implant planning, the production of surgical guides used to determine the location of implants before surgery can also be done in a short time. With 3D imaging, bone condition can be monitored before starting surgery, treatment planning can be done without allowing bad surprises during surgery. This system provides a quick and comfortable recovery process after surgery. Customized implant superstructures can be produced within the possibilities offered by digital systems.
