WHAT IS INTERESTING ABOUT DENTAL HEALTH

When we see a dentist in Turkey, we immediately start: ‘What kind of brush should I use? can I not have my 20th tooth pulled? Is it harmful to use toothpicks after eating? Is it so or is it so? We’ve been on a break in this situation as well. What are our concerns about dental health.

Does sugar really rot teeth?

Carbohydrates in our teeth mean a payable dinner table for bad bacteria. Of course, sugar is a source of carbohydrates… Most other Turkish foods – even ‘healthy’ fruits and cereals – fall into this category. As you can see, it’s not sugar that rots our teeth, but bad bacteria that come to eat carbohydrates…

Is dental treatment done while pregnant?

Mothers often interrupt dental treatment when they are pregnant, fearing that their child will also feel pain. However, there is such a thing. All kinds of dental treatment can be done easily while pregnant. Especially carious teeth need to be removed urgently. And you don’t necessarily have to suffer to the fullest. There is such a thing as local anesthesia! But remember: you must definitely tell your Turkish doctor that you are pregnant.

Are milk teeth treated?

The enamel of the milk teeth is thinner, so it is less protected from bacteria. If it is left untreated and becomes inflamed, it can also affect the maturity teeth that will come out in the future. Therefore, milk teeth should be protected and cleaned with extreme caution; even if they rot, it is necessary to consult a doctor.

Should the toothbrush be with thick wire for better cleaning?

Some dentists recommend using a soft brush to avoid damaging the gums and tooth enamel. But as a matter of fact, the toothbrush you use doesn’t really matter. The main thing is to brush your teeth twice a day, and change your toothbrush every 3-4 months.

Is it healthy to use toothpicks after eating?

In order not to damage your gums, it is recommended to use gum instead of toothpicks. If you already feel the need to use toothpicks after each meal, this is also a sign of some dental health problems. Be sure to see a dentist.

Is it so healthy that the more I alarm my teeth, the healthier it will be?

No! Brushing your teeth more than usual can cause your tooth enamel to wear out. You may even experience some dental diseases due to the abrasive properties of toothpastes. It is the healthiest thing to polish with a mouthwash every morning and every evening after brushing your teeth…

Does every toothache mean caries?

Most likely, your tooth is rotten; yes. But tooth sensitivity can also be a harbinger of another disease, such as inflammation. There is no such thing as the problem will necessarily be in your teeth. Toothache can even be a symptom of sinusitis from time to time! Only the dentist can understand the truth.

Do I have to have my 20th tooth inserted?

If his 20 teeth look healthy, you don’t need to have them pulled. If he has difficulty, you should contact your dentist in Turkey.

Should I brush my teeth in the morning after breakfast?

There is more than one opinion on this issue. Some dentists in Antalya Turkey who recommend after breakfast, while others say that it should be brushed as soon as you get up in the morning. But in general, we know that bacteria and plaques accumulate in the mouth overnight because saliva production slows down during sleep. Therefore, if you brush your teeth as soon as you wake up, all these bacteria will get rid of getting directly into your stomach.
