HERE ARE THE 5 PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT FROM THIS DANGER

iHealth – Extreme temperatures are causing overweight and high blood pressure patients to have brain hemorrhages.
.

Cerebral hemorrhage is actually a preventable disease. The way to do this is first of all to drink a sip of water regularly to prevent dehydration in the body!

.
Cerebral hemorrhage; a very serious picture caused by the leakage of blood into the brain and the destruction of brain tissue as a result of the rupture of the vascular wall that feeds the brain. Excessive temperatures, which significantly reduce the quality of daily life, can cause brain bleeding, especially in patients with overweight and high blood pressure. Moreover, contrary to popular belief, not only people of advanced age who have a disease such as aneurysm or arteriovenous malformation that facilitates bleeding at the bottom, but also young people who are unaware of it can also have a brain hemorrhage due to excessive heat.

Sip water

iHealth member and hospital Neurosurgery Specialist Dr. pointed out that cerebral hemorrhage is actually a preventable disease, “Be more careful, especially in weather where the temperature exceeds 32 degrees and humidity exceeds 65 percent, and do not go outside between 10.00 and 16.00, when the sun’s rays come perpendicular to the earth’s surface. If this is not possible, do not miss the water bottle from your hand and make sure to drink a sip of water regularly. Because the condition called heat stroke develops very quickly when precautions are not taken, and when symptoms occur, the person is late to protect themselves.” that’s what he warned.

The most important reason is that the body is dehydrated

The most important factor leading to cerebral hemorrhage is the dehydration of the body and the deterioration of its heat balance. Especially when staying in a high humidity environment under the sun, body temperature rises, water is excreted from the skin through sweating and direct evaporation. When the body is dehydrated, there is a deterioration in blood clotting and a deterioration in the mechanisms that keep the blood circulation in the brain in a certain balance, along with large changes in blood pressure. This, in turn, leads to the development of cerebral hemorrhage due to stroke or hypertension due to clots in the brain.

Especially overweight and high blood pressure patients are at risk

Cerebral hemorrhage that occurs in the summer season is most common in obese and high blood pressure patients. The loss of water as a result of sweating caused by excessive temperatures prevents the heat accumulated in the body from being excreted through sweat after a while. This, in turn, leads to sudden drops and rises in blood pressure. During blood pressure games, the blood contained in the veins darkens due to fluid loss, as a result of which the problem of vascular blockage called embolism and problems with blood supply to the brain arise. These events, which develop very quickly, lead to cerebral hemorrhage, which can lead to paralysis or even death.

Timely intervention saves lives

Nausea, vomiting, fainting and sudden loss of consciousness are the most typical symptoms of cerebral hemorrhage. The disease can begin with a small hemorrhage, and then continue in the form of recurrent hemorrhages and be life-threatening. Currently, surgical techniques are very advanced, so quite successful results can be achieved. For this reason, if the patient is delivered to a health board without wasting time, the damage that he may see from a brain hemorrhage can be reduced to a minimum level.

The form of treatment varies depending on the severity of bleeding

After the diagnosis of cerebral hemorrhage is made by tomography, the risks that may develop according to the cause and degree of bleeding are determined. If the bleeding is caused by a vascular disorder such as an aneurysm and arteriovenous malformation, it is stopped by surgical methods. In non-severe cerebral hemorrhages due to hypertension, surgery is not required. But since the patient’s life is at risk, he needs to be kept under constant observation, therefore, treatment is carried out in intensive care. If there is no result from the treatment, an operation decision can be made. If there is bleeding in the brain that has exceeded a certain limit in volume, the patient may need to be operated on without losing time so that the brain is not damaged.

Cerebral hemorrhage can be prevented

– Do not go out into the street between 10.00 – 16.00 hours when it is so humid and the sun’s rays reach the steepest to the earth.

– Take care to do your sports in the morning or evening coolness.

– If you have to go out into the street in extreme temperatures, do your physical activities in the morning or afternoon to prevent excessive water loss in your body.

– Avoid physical exertion that your body is not used to. For example, if you don’t run regularly before, heat stroke becomes easier if you suddenly start running in the summer heat, your risk of stroke and brain hemorrhage increases.

– If you are out in extreme temperatures, drink a sip of water without waiting for thirst.
