WHAT ARE WINTER ALLERGIES?

Winter allergies are actually allergic reactions caused by particles that form in the air due to increased air pollution that first come to mind, as well as house dust mites that increase with increasing temperature and humidity in the house, finding a much more suitable environment for themselves. As a matter of fact, cold weather itself can trigger allergic reactions. However, the winter season, which increased with the flu, colds, viral infections such as pharyngitis, weakening their immune systems and people with allergies to asthma patients also has to still more…

Allergy is one of the most common chronic conditions worldwide. To cope with this, of course, measures that patients themselves can take, such as trying to stay in the fresh air, protecting themselves from the cold, are important, but not enough. Allergy does not come to pass, and it certainly needs to be treated. One of the most effective options for treating allergies is the bioresonance method.

WHAT CAUSES A WINTER ALLERGY?

Most of the winter allergens are indoors. People are more likely to experience symptoms due to winter allergies when they spend more time indoors, especially in poorly ventilated areas. The most common causes of winter allergies are mold spores, house dust, dust mites, insect feces and crusts. In addition, in hot climates, plants can continue to produce allergens in winter, as well as in spring.

Winter allergies are quite common. It is known that one in four people, especially in industrialized regions, is allergic to dust mites.

WINTER ALLERGIES AND COLDS

The symptoms of colds and winter allergies are very similar, which makes it difficult to distinguish one from the other. It is possible to develop an allergy at any age, or even to be allergic to the same substances in the same house without having a reaction for many years. The fact that a person has not had an allergy before does not mean that his symptoms are necessarily colds.

Symptoms that last longer than a few weeks are usually the result of allergies. Symptoms that appear suddenly after weeks or months in the same house can be a common cold, especially if a person has no history of allergies.

To distinguish allergies from a cold, some symptoms are as follows:

– A cold causes a fever, while allergens do not change a person’s body temperature.

– Complaints of pain in the common cold are not typical for allergies.

– Sore throat is more common in colds, while it is less common in allergies.

– With a cold, the patient may feel pressure on the chest. Those with asthma will also feel this. But not only non-asthmatic allergy sufferers typically have chest pain is not a prominent symptom.

– The common cold passes by itself, the allergies do not pass, but only the symptoms pass when the exposure to the allergen decreases.

– In allergy, itchy rashes are also among the symptoms, while in the common cold this condition is dec experienced.

For the treatment of winter allergies, antihistamines and nasal steroids are most often used. But they only help suppress symptoms; they do not treat allergies. The success rate of the bioresonance method in the treatment of allergies is 85 percent.
