WAYS TO HAVE A BEAUTIFUL SMILE BY DENTISTRY

People who are undergoing oral health treatment also do not want to compromise their aesthetic image. At this point, aesthetic dentistry methods come into play. A beautiful smile can be captured with a natural look on the teeth.

The six best doctors in the world:

1- Sunlight

2- Resting

3- Exercise

4- Diet

5- Trust Yourself

6- Friends, add them to every stage of your life and enjoy a healthy life.

We add to these items the ability to have a beautiful smile. Nowadays, when the understanding of aesthetics is constantly changing, teeth are considered one of the most important complementary elements of facial aesthetics. Patients most often ask, ‘How can I make my teeth look better?’ he asks his question.

A team effort is needed to answer this question.

In addition, preventive dentists and maxillofacial surgery meet the desire of society to look better. All specialists have comprehensively understood the roles played by various sciences in the formation of aesthetics.

If the planning order of the treatment is going from biology to structure and eventually to aesthetics, the aesthetic result that will occur during this time will be compromised. That’s where the aesthetic idea that we dentists always have in mind comes from. Patients also do not want to compromise their appearance when they undergo a treatment that will improve their oral health.

.
HIGH DURABILITY

Zirconium-based full ceramic restorations, empress-powered full ceramic restorations and laminate restorations are aesthetic dental treatment methods that can be preferred in the mouth.

Full ceramics with zirconium substrates are successful restorations that combine strength and aesthetics, especially in implant prostheses and long bridges that require durability where tooth loss is excessive.

Because it is white, it does not make gray reflections at the gum level, such as restorations consisting of metal in its infrastructure. An aesthetic image that is compatible with the patient’s natural teeth can be easily provided. Its resistance to the pressures coming on it is very high. It is biologically tissue-friendly and does not cause allergies.

When it is created with computerized systems (CAD-CAM), its robustness and aesthetic properties can be further increased.

.
GAPS ARE EASILY CLOSED

The Empress system is a system in which ceramics are reinforced by means of heat, pressure and compression.

These systems can be used for thin leaf-shaped restorations, more commonly called laminate; single members and bridges with a maximum of up to three members near the front teeth. It is not as durable as zirconium on long bridges, but its light transmission, that is, transparency, is similar to natural teeth. For this reason, aesthetic results are also achieved. It is very difficult to distinguish from natural teeth.

Laminates; especially applied with ceramics reinforced with empress system, where the tooth is cut very little or glued on without cutting, are thin leaf-shaped restorations. These restorations can be used to close the gaps that deconstruct the aesthetics between the teeth, especially in the front teeth, in the case of shape and structure disorders on the visible surface of the tooth, in cases where there are a lot of old white fillings with too little loss of substance that does not need to be coated. With these systems, successful results are obtained without damaging the teeth.

AESTHETIC METHODS

Porcelain Lamina: It is a technique of gluing a specially prepared porcelain layer on the front side of the tooth in the thickness of the nail, the desired color, size and shape. The application areas of porcelain laminate are as follows:

Excessively dark teeth, for which the method of teeth whitening is not enough

Treatment of fractures caused by impact

Closing the december in the front teeth

Situations where teeth that appear on the smile line need to be covered due to caries and abrasion. Pink Aesthetics:

Healthy gums should be light pink in color, firmly attached to the tooth and bone, and have a shiny and lumpy appearance like an orange peel. An aesthetic smile is possible not only with white and uniform teeth, but also with gums that are compatible with these teeth. The name of aesthetic gum applications is pink aesthetics. The health, color and level of the gums complement the aesthetics of the teeth. The first step to ensuring a harmonious and clean smile is to create gum harmony. The most common problem in the gum area; it is the gums or asymmetrical gum levels that appear more than necessary. It is possible to correct them with a small operation called gingivoplasty, which is performed with a laser. In this treatment with local anesthesia, the excess area is removed with a laser.

Crystal-Supported Veneers: Now it is possible to make fixed dentures that mimic the natural structure of the tooth one-on-one and transmit light using metal-free crystal-supported porcelain on plated teeth, even bridges. In addition, these teeth, which are completely ceramic and do not contain metals, are processed layer by layer, and all the tissues of the tooth can be imitated in color and intonation.

Implant: Dental implants are arguably the best alternative to natural teeth. It offers a natural look on your face while providing better speech and chewing function than traditional bridges and prostheses. Dental implants are elements that are placed in the jawbone instead of the lost teeth and take on the role of a natural tooth root by fusing with bone. These elements are made of titanium metal, which is tissue-friendly and is easily accepted by the body. Implant treatment can be done to people of all ages.

Aesthetic Fillings: Currently, aesthetic fillings are used to treat carious teeth, replace amalgam fillings, and reshape the tooth. Fillings are in the color and form of your tooth.

Laminated Lens: These are aesthetic laminated applications made without cutting the tooth.

.
WHAT IS BONDING?

Bonding is the use of a composite to reconstruct cracked and broken teeth, fill gaps, repair cavities, or to reshape and color your smile. The material used for bonding is also used in tooth coloring and for making fillings to create a natural tooth appearance. For a more satisfactory result, your dentist resorts to resin, different styling techniques, colors and shapes. A light with a special wavelength hardens the material. Then corrections and polishing are carried out. The most important difference that distinguishes bonding from coatings is that it can be done in one session without the need for a laboratory. In addition, these restorations are cheaper than veneers, as there are no laboratory costs. Restorations performed using bonding protect the tooth structure by removing less substance from the tooth. It also reduces the sensitivity of the tooth by using it to cover the exposed root surface.

.
HOW LONG CAN IT BE USED FOR?

The durability of bonding depends on what it is used for, where it is in the mouth, and how well it is taken care of. If you have had bonding done to the tip of your front tooth that you use to bite, if you are biting a pencil with your front teeth and chewing your nails; then the bonding restoration will not stay in your mouth for too long. Bonding can be used for many years, mostly by repair, in some areas it is even used without problems for much longer with proper care. Reflux and heavy alcohol use weaken the restoration of bonding. Teeth grinding can erode these restorations, but this wear process; the same applies to natural tooth enamel, metal fillings and porcelain veneers. The bonding process is an excellent way to beautify your smile with proper care in Turkey.
