ATTRACTIVE AND HEALTHY TEETH INDICATE THE QUALITY OF LIFE

For the best dental cosmetics in Turkey performed with digital dentistry allows the patient to have a comfortable treatment process, as well as a healthy smile

A happy smile is the most natural right of every person. This is also one of the most important parts of our daily lives. Self-confidence also plays a big role for our social environment and psychology. Do we have teeth that are suitable for a beautiful smile? We can observe this from around us. We often encounter people in everyday life who have caries in their mouth because they do not pay attention to their dental health, or who feel the need to close their mouth with their hand while laughing due to dental problems. So what can dentists do to solve such problems? There are treatments to solve such problems with our teeth. Surgical interventions or orthodontic treatments with braces can sometimes not make our smile beautiful. This is not a problem without a solution. Digital technologies are coming to the aid of dentists and patients in such situations.

The most important obstacle for patients to accept dental treatments was the long treatment sessions and the really high aesthetic expectation of patients. High-quality, attractive and tooth-colored fillings are now easier thanks to digital technologies. The digital technology system provides long-lasting and aesthetic treatment opportunities in one session, without long treatment sessions. It is a computer-aided application that is performed for all ceramic fillings, crowns and veneers with a digital technology system in just one appointment. 10-15 years ago, it was even a dream to share photos on the phone, but nowadays you can make video calls wherever you are in the world. This technological progress has also manifested itself in dentistry.

So much so that it is enough to move your camera around the teeth to get an image from the inside of the mouth. After a procedure of about 8-10 minutes, you produce your patient’s tooth and finish the treatment within 45 minutes.

.
WHAT IS THE TREATMENT PROCEDURE?

First of all, the dentist meticulously prepares the tooth by cleaning the carious or damaged area. Then, with the help of a digital technology system camera, it takes a 3D image of your tooth and sends the data to the computer. The dentist designs the filling or crown to be formed from a ceramic block, and the digital technology milling system produces this design.

.
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES?

First of all, it saves time. Digital technology system restoration; it is designed, manufactured and applied to the patient in just one treatment session. Patients do not need to come to the clinic more than once for several weeks to be treated. In addition, the patient does not need to be anesthetized with a needle again in the second session.

.
THE MEASURING SPOON IS NOT BITTEN FOR A LONG TIME

There is no need for applications that disturb patients, such as silicone measurements. Patients do not bite the measuring spoon for minutes. It prevents their mouths from getting numb or their jaws from getting sore. In addition, taking silicone measurements in patients with a gag reflex turns into torture for both the patient and the doctor. Thanks to digital cameras, this is also prevented. In the digital technology method, the dentist takes an image of the patient’s teeth in seconds with the help of a small camera and transfers it to the computer. There will be no need for a temporary installation.

Patients do not have to travel with a temporary filling material in their mouth until their final prosthesis is ready. We used to get a lot of complaints from patients about it. After the old rotten tissue was removed, we would cover the remaining tissue with a temporary filling material until the restoration was prepared in the laboratory. After that, the patient would call us within a few days to complain that the temporary filler had fallen off or that he had accidentally swallowed it in his sleep. In this case, we would have to renew the patient’s temporary filling until the patient’s permanent restoration is ready. Such troubles have also now been left behind thanks to digital dentistry.

.
THE TREATMENT IS LONG-LASTING

In addition, restorations produced with digital technology system are among the longest-lasting restoration types. Therefore, it is ensured that the treatments performed using the digital technology system will last longer. Finally, restorations made entirely of ceramics best match the natural tooth color and form. It is quite difficult to distinguish digital technology system restorations from real teeth of the patient. In summary, the digital technology system offers attractive, healthy and long-lasting teeth to patients in one session.

.
DEVELOPED 30 YEARS AGO

How reliable are the digital dentistry applications you described?

Digital technology system was developed 30 years ago. But at that time the system was not as successful as traditional methods of treatment. Despite this, the patent for the system was purchased by one of the largest companies in the sector and R&D work has been continued to this day. We can say that the digital technology system we use today is now the fifth generation. Currently, there are more than 500 scientific studies proving that the digital technology system is superior to traditional treatment methods. A digital technology system restoration is placed on the Earth every seven seconds. In the USA, Canada, UK, France and Germany, Japan, 20 percent of dentists use this system in their clinics.

.
THEIR CONFIDENCE IS GROWING, THEY ARE RELAXING

Does what we call dental aesthetics go parallel with health?

Of course. People with an aesthetic smile have an increased self-confidence, and this, in turn, affects their behavior in society. Self-confident people are becoming more comfortable, and this, in turn, positively affects their psychology. Therefore, We can say that aesthetics has a direct relationship with health. In addition, crossed teeth can also cause gum problems in the long term. By solving such problems, it also prevents health problems that may occur in the future.

What opportunities does digital dentistry offer us in aesthetic treatment?

It is possible that the treatment times will be shortened and the number of sessions will be reduced. But the biggest advantage of digital dentistry in aesthetic treatments is that it gives us clear information about how the patient will look after the treatment before starting the treatment. Thanks to this, patients are able to choose their appearance before starting treatment.
