NEW ARTEFACTS IN TURKEY HISTORICAL ANCIENT CAPITAL

Archaeological excavations conducted around Hidirlik Tower in Antalya are being expanded. Behind the hidirlik Tower, the area where the fire station is located was also included in the excavation area.

The sun is calling us, our suitcase is also caring products,
Nearest stranger to us,
History, nature, sport, sea… All-in-one, on an island,
Where you go, where the pet goes…
This is Mesopotamia: you have everything you need to travel.

A few ruins ahead of us. We’re trying to figure out what happened. A story told with large sewn stones arranged in a circular shape and animal figures on these stones.

What does this story tell us? Who lined these stones up like this? Why Sanliurfa? Who built this place for what purpose? If you’re wondering the answer to these questions, you’re not alone. Hundreds of scientists doing archaeological research around the world have turned their eyes to this place, Göbeklitepe. This is the oldest structure in the world discovered by this time. You didn’t read it wrong, the oldest structures in the world. By this time, there is no older city, no temple… right under our noses; in Anatolia.

FOUND IN TURKEY, SURPRISED THE WORLD ‘ GÖBEKLITEPE FULL OF SECRETS ‘

Göbeklitepe is a place full of secrets. These secrets are so deep that even today they remain unsolved. This place was used even 11,600 years before today. Even if it is still unknown who uses it for what purpose, the scientific world has reached very interesting information. Let’s start with the most exciting in Turkey tours.

The vehicles found in Göbeklitepe and used in the construction of this place were brought here from Cappadocia and Lake Van, 500 km away. It means that the people who built this place were a hunter-gatherer society. I mean, a society that lives a nomadic life by hunting and feeding on what it finds. What makes it interesting is that when these people came here, why did they need to build such a temple? What stopped a hunter-gatherer society that was constantly moving here? Even today, no one knows the answer to these questions.

Well, for any reason, they decided to settle here and started building these temples. It would take years to build such a structure in 9600. In order to feed, these people need to constantly hunt and consume the nutrients found in the surrounding trees. And what do you think happened when there were no more fruits to collect and animals to hunt? Here’s the exciting part really. Turkish Scientists came across domesticated black wheat for the first time about 20 kilometers from Göbeklitepe. This can’t be a coincidence. Perhaps the hunter-gatherer society that built this place was the first people to settle in Göbeklitepe and make the transition to an agricultural society.

Although the scientific world has a hard time proving this theory because it dates back 11,600 years to today, it is really hard to believe that this is a coincidence. Perhaps for the first time, the Agricultural Society was passed on this land, next to us, in Sanliurfa. In Göbeklitepe, there are such exciting discoveries that if you have a little interest in history, this place will literally fascinate you. Not only us, but the University of Chicago in the United States, the German University of Heidelberg and the German Archaeological Institute are also closely involved in the excavations here. Every new information discovered in Göbeklitepe changes the history of the world. He draws a line on all that is known and prints his own truth. When I first came to Göbeklitepe, I had no idea about this place. A few interesting sorted obelisk stones and figures that do not understand what they mean…

After a little tour around it, we went on a journey to the next stop in our trip plan. He mentioned Göbeklitepe in a book by a foreign writer I read after I returned from Sanliurfa. Interestingly, what was the name of this place, which most people don’t even know its name, doing in the book of a foreign author? Impressed by the book, I started researching Göbeklitepe. Every new thing I learned added to my excitement, and I started counting the days to come here again. This video consists of what I recorded on my second visit to Göbeklitepe. This information is so important that I pressed the Recording button on my camera so that everyone could hear it. This video appeared.Archaeological excavations conducted around Hidirlik Tower in Antalya are being expanded.
