ON THE SAME DAY IN ANTALYA, TWO SEASONS

Citizens who enjoy the sunny weather on the world-famous Konyaalti beach also enjoy a barbecue on the snow at the Saklikent Ski Resort, which is half an hour away from the city center. Antalya residents who have lived in one city for two seasons have created postcard images.

After a downpour and storm on mid December 2021 in Antalya, citizens who saw the sun again flocked to the Konyaalti beach in the city

Some of the citizens enjoyed the weather while hiking, while others were fishing and sunbathing.

.
ENJOYING THE SNOW IN HIGH AREAS

While there is a spring day on the coast, there is almost the opposite situation in the high areas.

At Saklikent Ski Resort between 1,800-2,100 meters above sea level, which turned white with the fall of the first snowflakes of the year, citizens enjoyed the snowfall.

Citizens who received news of the snowfall in the region and went to Saklikent, while enjoying a barbecue on the snow-covered area, played snowball with their children.

There is an observatory and space telescope with world scientists at 2,400 meters at the top.

.
KONYAALTI IS A VERY SPECIAL REGION

Mayor of Konyaalti said that Konyaalti district is a very special and rich region in terms of natural beauty. “As we all know, while snow is falling on our highlands on one side of our Konyaaltı, on the other side, our citizens can enjoy the sea and the sun on the coastline. Especially in the first weeks of the winter season, we can come across such beauties. We have witnessed the same images again today. We are very lucky and glad that the city where we live has such a climate,” he said.

.
THE SKI SEASON IS OPENING

Saklikent Ski Resort, which also has an important place in ski tourism, will open the ski season with the desired level of snow thickness. Every year in Saklikent, which welcomes thousands of guests from all over Turkey, eyes are turned from meteorology to the news of the coming snowfall.
