HOW SHOULD THE AESTHETIC NOSE BE?

We all care about our nose shape, both men and women, young and old. Because it is located right in the middle of our face, a nose that is not compatible with our facial contours is contrary to our perception of beauty. For this reason, rhinoplasty, that is, rhinoplasty surgery, is the most commonly performed aesthetic surgery both in the world and in Turkey.

In order to perform a good rhinoplasty operation, it is important to evaluate the patient’s facial contours in detail. Thus, it becomes possible to create a nose shape that looks both natural and in harmony with the rest of the face.

.
HOW TO DECIDE ON THE SHAPE OF THE NOSE ACCORDING TO THE TYPE OF FACE?

There is no single type of nose when it comes to aesthetic nose shape. Rhinoplasty surgery is an operation that must be planned individually and specifically for each patient. Otherwise, the same type of nose is made for everyone, as we see more than enough examples of them today, and artificial looks appear. In order to avoid this, it is necessary to know which nose shape will suit which face type better. Likewise, is of great importance to know the differences between female and male nose shapes and to carry out surgeries accordingly. For example, arched noses are common in some geographies, including Turkey. In women with an arched nose structure, the tip of the nose is raised by completely removing the arch on the back of the nose; in men, the tip of the nose is not upturned in the structure of the nose.

.
THE ELEMENTS THAT ARE PAID ATTENTION TO IN THE FORM OF AN AESTHETIC NOSE

– The length of the nose,

– Height and shape of the tip of the nose,

– The nostrils should be even and even,

– The ratio between the of the nose and the tip of the nose,

– Angle of forehead and nose,

– And it is the angle of the nose and lips.

Adhering to all these angles and proportions, an ideal nose shape is achieved. It is especially useful to be careful about nose reduction surgeries. Making the nose smaller than it should be can lead to serious problems both aesthetically and functionally. An too small nose leads to a strange appearance even in women, and also causes nasal congestion.

Another thing to know about rhinoplasty surgery is that not every type of nose can be given the desired shape. Here, the thickness and type of nasal skin are important. It is always more difficult to perform operations on oily and thick-skinned noses. The healing process of this type of nose is also longer and more difficult.

In order to correctly interpret all these criteria and produce a beautiful result, the rhinoplasty operation must be performed by an experienced surgeon with an aesthetic perception. Otherwise, unsatisfactory results for the patient may lead to the need for revision (secondary) surgeries.
